The AMA offers a membership designed around your current education or career focus. Choose the membership type that is right for you.
Professional membership is for practitioners in the marketing industry. Membership includes a subscription to Marketing News, one additional publication of your choice, and membership in a Special Interest Group of your choice.
In 2010 the Marketing Association initiated a Group Membership Program to encourage companies to support memberships for their employees. Companies that have at least four prospective members can benefit from the reduced membership fee and the professional development resources offered by AMA. Group members must pay for Professional Memberships at the reduced rate, will join as a group, and will have all the benefits available to any professional member.
Academic membership is for marketing educators. Membership includes a subscription to Marketing News, one additional publication of your choice, and membership in a Special Interest Group of your choice.
Collegiate membership is for full-time students only, who are not employed full-time. Membership includes a subscription to Marketing News (8 issues per year).
Young Professional Membership
Young Professional Membership is for available for three years immediately following completion of an undergraduate degree. Membership includes a subscription to Marketing News.
Doctoral Student Membership
Doctoral Student Membership is for Doctoral Students. Membership includes a subscription to Marketing News, one additional AMA publication of your choice, and membership in the Doctoral Student SIG.
