Michelle M. Jordan, Vice President, AT&T Talent & Leadership Development
Michelle began her career with Honeywell as an Environmental Engineer in Raleigh, NC. This experience led her to UCB Chemicals in Atlanta, GA to run the pilot plant operation as a Process Development Engineer and later to launch a line of chemicals as a Product Manager.
A serial entrepreneur, she’s owned and operated a variety of businesses spanning real estate, retail, consulting, and education. Her passion for entrepreneurship grew and took her to Atlanta Technical College, where she taught Marketing and Business Law classes to small business owners as an adjunct.
In 2006, Michelle joined AT&T’s Advertising Solutions organization where she was instrumental in leading the development of a post-BellSouth, sell-side advertising brand. Her success in this role positioned her for success at the next level as Director, Corporate Strategy, where she was responsible for driving initiatives to broaden and unify AT&T’s advertising strategy. As Director, Service Management, Michelle led the introduction of a new Customer Experience role to support enterprise customers. And while serving as Director, Executive Communications, she was responsible for helping to elevate the brand and reputation for AT&T’s CEO and Chairman.
In her role as Executive Director, AT&T University, Michelle and her team masterfully designed and delivered leadership development programs for AT&T’s top 300 leaders. She went on to lead a team of more than 5,000 sales professionals in AT&T’s Mobility & Entertainment Group as AVP, Call Center Operations, delivering best in class customer service, employee net promoter scores and a $100M+ revenue stream.
Her customer and employee experience-driven leadership took her back to HR and as VP, Global Talent Acquisition she led a team of world-class professionals responsible for talent attraction, recruitment, and staffing efforts.
A native of Saginaw, MI, Michelle holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Chemical Engineering from Florida A&M University and a Master of Business Administration from Kennesaw State University. She co-founded About My Sister’s Business, a 501c3 nonprofit organization created to empower women in business and serves on the North Texas Make-A-Wish Board of Directors.
Michelle and her husband Jeff reside in Dallas, TX with their two sons.
