Sharon McCloskey, DFW Airport

Sharon McCloskey serves as the Vice President of Marketing for the world’s third-busiest Airport, Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport.

In this position, Ms. McCloskey provides direction and strategy for branding, consumer messaging and insights in order to create customer value and maximize revenues for the Airport.  Ms. McCloskey oversees digital and mobile marketing efforts to target the high-spending segments of DFW’s customer base, including both US and non-US travelers.

Ms. McCloskey holds a Bachelor’s degree and an M.B.A. in international management from the University of Dallas.

 

Ivonne Kinser, Avocados of Mexico

Ivonne Kinser has spent the last 15 years specializing in the interactive space. Back in 2002 she led the first digital efforts of American Airlines in the Latin American region, including the development of the airline’s multiple websites across the region. She also spent several years on the agency side with some of the best-known advertising groups such as Lintas, McCann Erickson Worldwide, and the Richards Group. On the corporate side, she has held senior director roles at several companies from technology startups to all-American companies such as the apparel manufacturer Haggar Clothing.

In 2014 Ivonne joined Avocados From Mexico as the head of digital strategy. At AFM she oversees all things digital, keeping the company on the cutting edge of the Web across the organization’s four business segments: general market, multicultural, retail, and food service.

Within the three years that she has been leading the company’s digital efforts, Avocados from Mexico’s digital work has been recognized by different organizations and media. The multiple accolades include top #2 second-screen Super Bowl champion February 2015; #2 Top Digital Super Bowl campaign, Merkle Digital Bowl 2016; #2 Top Digital Super Bowl campaign, Merkle Digital Bowl 2017, Most Engaging Cinco de Mayo Brands on Facebook recognition; Silver Communicator Award for Avocados From Mexico’s website copy writing; a Gold Stevie in the Websites Food and beverage category – Steve Awards.

Innovation, disruptive creativity and a non-traditional approach to digital marketing are the hallmarks of Ivonne’s work.

 

Abhi Vyas , Verizon Wireless       

Abhi Vyas is a digital marketing expert with a proven track record of driving results and delivering innovation in the mobile marketing arena. Abhi’s expertise is based on more than a decade of experience across all online marketing channels. He is a pioneer of SoLoMo (social, local and mobile) marketing strategy that represents the convergence of collaborative, location-based and on-the-go technologies, primarily used for marketing and discovery purposes.

At Verizon Wireless, Abhi is managing Digital Marketing, Personalization, and Lead Generation to drive top of funnel programs by using innovative web media intelligence, analytics, customer experience, behavioral targeting & marketing technologies to execute disruptive marketing strategies.

Abhi also works as an adjunct instructor of Mobile Marketing – Tools, Tactics and Strategies at SMU. He is a co-organizer along with SMU CAPE of a Meetup group on Mobile Marketing & Strategy in Dallas. He frequently speaks about the disruptive mobile technologies and how brands can use it to drive engagement and improve customer satisfaction.

Vyas has several years of marketing and management experience at Dex Media and Metromedia in various senior marketing management & leadership positions

 

Kylie Garcia, Macadamia Beauty

After graduating from TCU with a degree in Advertising and Public Relations, Kylie joined Publicis Groupe’s media arm, Optimedia, in Dallas, TX. There she worked on clients such as Denny’s and Orbitz, with exposure to both traditional and digital media. Combining her passion for Public Relations, recognizing the growing opportunity in Digital media, and her personal obsession with Social media, Kylie joined Macadamia Beauty in 2015 as Media & PR Manager. Kylie led the first digital campaign for the company and quickly proved the value of new media, resulting in the shift to a near 100% digital plan. Since joining, the company has launched multiple new brands. The portfolio now includes haircare companies Macadamia Natural Oil, Macadamia Professional, éprouvage, and Flawless by Gabrielle Union.

She oversees strategy development while working alongside multiple agencies to plan digital campaigns, test new tactics, and launch new technology, such as an AI Facebook bot. In her role, she’s had the opportunity to lead press and social teams at numerous industry events including New York Fashion Week, and to garner press and awards for Macadamia Beauty’s brands. Kylie’s involvement in many areas of marketing demonstrates her belief that the intersection of teamwork and communication across an organization can lead to mutually beneficial relationships for all internal and external partners.

Scott Talbott

Mobile is as compelling of a dataset as any, and the most underutilized.  It tells so much about us as consumers—what we do, where we go in the real world. It defines us. Mobile devices are portable computers with GPS chips and are at the vanguard of this movement. Scott has spent his entire career at the forefront of technology and the study of evolving consumer behaviors.  He helps marketers better navigate, innovate, and remain relevant. Scott presently serves as a director for Verve Mobile.  In his present capacity, he manages the south central region, initiates strategic partnerships, and directs business development.

Verve created the location based mobile category in 2005. As a technology partner for leading app/mobile web publishers, they receive consumer permissions on 52M mobile unique.  This provides marketers a 360-degree view of the consumer and their new mobile path to purchase.
